First Recipe: Blanched Broccoli and Fresh Dressing
Ingredients
- Broccoli: 1 (cleaned and cut into florets)
- Salt: to taste
- Chopped Garlic: 1 tsp
- Olive Oil: 2 tsp spoon
- Chili flakes: to taste
- Oregano: 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper powder: 1 teaspoon
- Vinegar or lemon juice: 1 teaspoon
- Honey: 1 teaspoon
Recipe
- Broccoli preparation: Wash the broccoli well and cut it into small florets. Heat water in a pot and add salt to taste. Blanch for 2-3 minutes so that the right color and nutrients are retained. Then, place in cold (ice cold) water and dry with a cloth or paper towel when the water drains.
- Prepare the dressing: In a bowl, mix the minced garlic, olive oil, chili flakes, oregano, salt, black pepper powder, vinegar (or lemon juice), and honey well.
- Mix and serve: Pour this dressing over the blanched broccoli, mix well, and serve slightly chilled.
Second Recipe: Broccoli Stir-Fry
Ingredients
- Broccoli: 1 (raw, chopped into small pieces)
- Olive Oil: 2-2.5 teaspoons
- Chopped Garlic: 1.5 teaspoons
- Onion (Sliced): 1 (medium size)
- Salt: To taste
- Dark soy sauce: 2 teaspoons
- Oyster sauce: 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper powder: 1 teaspoon
- Chili flakes: To taste
- Cornflower (mixed with water): 1-1.5 teaspoons
Recipe
- Frying process: In a frying pan, heat olive oil Heat it. Add the chopped garlic and sliced onion and fry until lightly golden.
- Add broccoli: Add the raw broccoli to the pan and mix lightly with salt. When the broccoli starts to cook a little, add dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper and chili flakes and stir.
- Cornflower mixture: Thicken the mixture with cornflower mixed with water beforehand so that excess water does not come out of the broccoli. Once everything is mixed well, turn off the gas and serve hot.
