Heart Attack
Heart attack: No blood goes through the vessel of heart and a result is that the muscle in that part of the heart is broken. This leads to serious complications. The right and left sides of the heart have many blood vessels. Whe one of these gets completely blocked, the heart muscles will hurt and one might get extreme heart pain. Sometimes one gets further serious heart problems than this.
Symptoms of a Heart Atack
Symptoms of a heart attack may include some of the following varieties but there is no fixed list nor regularity. They frequently are these: - Severe chest pain and tightness in the center of the chest. - Pain may also be felt in jaw and left arm. - Sometimes it extends to right chest or right arm. - There may be sweating, nausea and shortness of breath
Cardiac Arrest
The heart stops completely when one has a cardiac arrest. Unlike a heart attack in which only part of the heart is damaged, cardiac arrest causes the whole heart to stop, thereby preventing it from pumping blood. Since the body organs, including the brain, lungs and kidneys no longer receive blooddrainage they need for function; this causes the patient to lose consiousness and immediately go into a coma.
Causes of Sudden Cardiac Arrest A heart attack may sometimes lead to cardiac arrest; however, other such factors as abnormalities that produce too little sodium or potassium in the blood or an extremely acidic condition for example (a PH level change), they can all be triggers. No matter the cause, sudden cardiac arrest is a medical emergency situation that requires immediate treatment.
What To Do in the Event of A Heart Attack) If someone is having a heart attack, the key is to act promptly:
Give High Strength Aspirin: One 300 mg tablet of aspirin can itself thin the blood, and to help prevent another blood clot from forming off it.
Statin Medicines: Cholesterol-lowering drugs such as Crestor (40-80 mg) may be beneficial in this circumstance.
Get to a Hospital Quickly: Take the patient to a hospital for medical attention as quickly as possible.
4) Do not wait - Immediate action is necessary in cardiac arrest. You cannot afford the luxury of waiting, even for a few minutes. The need for speed.Another way to potentially save someone ’s life in an emergency is by learning CPR; it could make all the difference if ever needed.
